(I posted for the first time the other day and now I've got a taste for public bitching).
Maybe I've just gotten annoyed with Youtuber at the same time SF/SFNerd decided to increasing the pandering to 12-year-olds ten fold, but jesus this channel is a chore to watch these days. I was really starting to like Maude and thought "ooh! She's going to be on the GoT Tv Show Show, this should be good!", and then it just crashed and burned into Steve and Matt cutting her off to tell sex jokes. Or should I say sex joke, because it was the same one constantly repeated. As much as I get annoyed with them completely derailing from any and all topics in their videos, I usually ignore it and thought maybe they'd be serious during a recap show like TV Show Show. Was very, very wrong.
And god, that table talk with Sam, Steve, and Maude talking about their worst fears and Maude is literally freaking out on camera about her doll phobia and Steve is just pushing it further and further like the ass he's been since Joe left and he took creative control (1st decree: everyone's name is now "baby"). What's the point of even having a thousand new hosts if you'll just shit all over them when they try to contribute. Chloe had nothing to do in the new Truth or Dare video, which might have been for the best because god, that was strange to watch. Prank calls are whatever, but these ones just seemed...just irritating? Screaming/farting into the phone? No chill, guys.
Bree is starting to seem more and more like a try-hard who gets and regurgitates all her human rights information from tumblr, and you'd have to pay me a lot of money for me to believe that she and Steve aren't boning.
And Will. Will, Will, Will. I listened to the episode of his podcast that someone mentioned above, and that just turned me off of him. He's trying to be so pretentious about comedy, talking about how the perfect joke is constructed and never doing XYZ kind of joke. Dude seriously? You're 21, stop acting like you invented comedy. He said that he used to emulate certain people, and then he realized he needed to be himself. But he contradicts all of that because in reality, he's just changed the people he's trying to mimic. Now he wants to be a Louis C.K. type. Which is fine, but stop pretending to be wholly original and above other people when you literally just want to be like XYZ person.
And, ugh, I'm over his "nothing matters" schtick. It's like listening to a middle-schooler going through their emo phase. Anytime he doesn't have a response to something or can't admit he's wrong, he just reverts to "nothing matters" or a dad/mom/depression joke. Comedic genius over here. He says his goal is to host the Tonight Show or something equivalent--good luck with that. He'll be the host of the Tonight Show as soon as Steve stops thinking farting into mics and reading from dumb menus is quality content, aka no time soon.
All that said, I'm loving Suppy and Reina over on SPF, and the DefrancoFam vlogs
